Subject: reading re April 2 meeting on Implementation Planning effort
To: TRAD-L@LISTSERV.VT.EDU

Hi!

As a member of the Self-Study Steering Committee I was asked to read the
April 1 document sent by the Provost related to the Implementation Planning
effort. This long document appears to relate to our work, so I ask that
each member of the TRAD group read the relevant sections and bring them to
the meeting this Thursday at 8am to discuss.

This document addresses key parts of the Update to the Plan, and makes many
recommendations. While it goes beyond Information Technology, and also
covers other groups besides those that TRAD is focussing on, many parts
relate closely to our deliberations. The following are what I recommend
you read:
        First 3 pages
        Part 2
        Parts 5, 6, 7
        Part 11

Please contact Kathy in the Self-Study office to let her know if you have a
copy or if you want her to send one to you (of the parts listed above). I
am not sure if there is an electronic version; if there is then I hope
someone on this list can post that fact back to the group.

See you Thursday to discuss this and other matters.

Thanks, Ed Fox
