Ed-
Here are all the notes I took at the meeting.

1/23/97

- We must be careful about students self-reporting their efficiency in using
computers
- Has there been an evaluation from the other side -  the side of the
professors? (Anne)
        + will be very tough to collect
- May be even more important to see how quickly students get up to speed (Terry)

-Went through outline and assigned names to pieces of data to collect, or
items that need further hammering out.

-As quickly as we can, we need to put together a more detailed outline with
all the pieces we have collected so we can determine what we still need (Ed)
        +Tables
        +Questions we have teased out
        +Ed and David Conn will put together a web page of all this group's
stuff

-Send information - and we collect -  to David and Ed

-We already have a lot of the information and now it just needs synthesizing
(Anne)

-Recommendation: Getting the data collected and made available for ANYONE to
read, in order to help overcome the present disconnect between info
collected and results presented.

-We will be meeting every week at 8:00 am on Thursday.
