Subject: Trad committee - survey data
Cc: conn@vt.edu

Ed - I spent a lot of time on the weekend tabulating survey data John Muffo
sent and will be sending the same to the trad committee soon. It will
still take some additional reorganization of the questions we were working
with the other day to fit some of this basic "needs" info into that
framework. I don't see that as any big problem. The documents are two: one
that give the computer info we have at this time, the other compiling all
sorts of general info about the nature of undergrads and their attitudes,
expectations, etc. I need to use this info to rank order student
perceptions of their needs and to work with Barbara to decide what issues
we wish to separate out with respect to gender, race and non-English
speaking background. Certainly not all of this info is needed for the
report, much of it is background the committee asked about for perspective.
