Subject: Apology

I am sorry that I missed the meeting yesterday. Somehow I neglected to put
it on my calendar. I understand that you still want information on
technology needs of special populations. Right now I have anedoctal data
and before collecting hard data I need to make sure I do not duplicate or
interfere with other efforts. The best way for me to get some useful data
is to conduct a survey. It would be easy to get this information on a
significant number of Black students. I have already contacted faculty in
Black Studies requesting help with administering a short survey to their
classes. We could easily get data from 100+ Black students from those
classes which represent a little more than 10% of the Black student
population. I am preparing my annual fall mailing to students with
disabilities, so I can collect information from that group. The
nontraditional students maybe a little harder to assess, but I can get a
lot of anedoctal inforamtion. Should I proceed? Will this interfere with
the other survey?
