Blocks - Marking for Cut and Paste You may mark a block of text from the Document Window for copying into the Search Window or into Microsoft Windows 2.0 compatible text editors, wordprocessors, and/or desktop publishing packages. The Document Window is the window which occupies all but the top three lines of the screen display and underlies all other windows, if other windows in Windows Personal Librarian are active. To copy text from the Document Window, make the Document Window the active window by moving your mouse pointer within the window and clicking. Next, move your mouse pointer to the beginning of the desired block, then PRESS AND HOLD DOWN the Select Button (far left-hand button on your mouse) while dragging your mouse to the position where you wish the block to end. The selected area will then be blocked off in reverse video. A click on any of the Paste Buttons in Windows Personal Librarian windows or any other Microsoft Windows 2.0 compatible activated applications will cut and paste this block into the selected window. If you are running applications other than Windows Personal Librarian, you may wish to refer to the Microsoft Windows 2.0 manual for instructions concerning pasting text from the Windows 2.0 Clipboard to other Windows applications. IMPORTANT: Remember that the Clipboard option remembers only the last block that you defined. If you define a subsequent block, the previous block is automatically erased from the Clipboard.
