Browsing 2: Moving Through A Set of Retrieved Documents To browse through retrieved documents ranked according to the Probable Relevance Ranking (See Bar Chart and Probable Relevance Ranking in this Help system), use the Cursor Keypad and associated cursor movement keys or select the corresponding Display Pulldown Menu options to activate the following: Home The Home key moves you to the document ranked first according to the Probable Relevance Ranking. End The End key moves you to the next occurrence of a Hit Word. Each Hit Words appears in reverse video for easy identification. PgUp The PgUp key moves you to the first line of the current document displayed. PgDn The PgDn key moves you to another document retrieved by a search and ranked according to the Probable Relevance Ranking. When the PgDn key is pressed, a box appears with the following message: "Display Document of Rank" followed by a number "1" in reverse video. Type the ranking number of the document you want to display on top of "1" and press the ENTER key. The document will immediately appear on the screen. Up Arrow The Up Arrow key moves you BACK one document at a time within the Probable Relevance Ranking of retrieved documents until the first document is reached. Down Arrow The Down Arrow key moves you FORWARD one document at a time within the Probable Relevance Ranking of retrieved documents until the last document is reached. Left Arrow The Left Arrow key moves you BACK one screen at a time through the document currently displayed. This key will not move you to the next document. Right Arrow The Right Arrow key moves you UP one screen at a time through the document currently displayed. This key will not move you to the previous document.
