Open General 	

    To view, each in its own window, the contents of up to three
    text files located outside your database(s) and in any directory
    and/or drive accessible by your computer, open the Show Pulldown
    Menu and click on the Open General option.  You will see a
    display of your current disk directory.  You may select a file
    or move to another directory and select a file.  The Open
    General Window is designed to access files that are reasonably
    ASCII compatible.  

    To close a General Window, reopen the Show Pulldown Menu and
    turn off the file by clicking on the file name.
