Links Pulldown Menu In WINDOWS PERSONAL LIBRARIAN, the Links Pulldown Menu allows you to access information located within or without WINDOWS PERSONAL LIBRARIAN databases. This information is "connected" to a record or location within a record by your data base administrator or publisher. A wide variety of connections may have been made and they include connections to images, other text documents records) or to other software programs. These connections may have been divided into logical groupings, such as associated names, locations, pictures, and comments, etc. You might have, for example, a connection FROM the description of a book title TO a demonstration about the contents of that book. These Link/Hypertext connections represent whatever specific text locations, records, images, and/or other programs that the publisher or administrator decided to connect to a location in the text, to record, or to some other item in a database during database creation. If, for example, you are viewing a document (record) of an item and the data base administrator or publisher has provided a demonstration/tutorial about that item, move your mouse pointer first to the Links Pulldown Menu and Click. Then, move your mouse pointer to the word DEMO (for example) and click once again. Windows Personal Librarian will now automatically execute a demonstration/tutorial of the current item. When the demonstration is completed or when you exist from the demonstration, WINDOWS PERSONAL LIBRARIAN will automatically return you to exactly where you left off.
