General Windows 	

    To view the contents of up to three text files (external to a
    Searchable WINDOWS PERSONAL LIBRARIAN data base) while in
    WINDOWS PERSONAL LIBRARIAN, move your mouse pointer to the Show
    Pulldown Menu and click.  Then, move your mouse pointer to the
    Open General option which will activate the Open General Dialog
    Box for access to all directories available on your computer
    system.  This Dialog Box allows you to locate text files for
    viewing (assuming that these files are reasonably close to
    standard ASCII and viewable).  When you have selected a file for
    viewing, click on the file name and then move your mouse pointer
    to the View File Button and click again.  
          
    To close a General Window, activate the Show Pulldown Menu and
    turn off the file by clicking on its file name.
