Sorting by Field	

    The Display Pulldown Menu allows you to sort the results of your
    search by fields.  Click on By Sort on Field in the Display
    Pulldown Menu to open the Sort Dialog Box.

    The Sort Dialog Box provides a list of Data Fields in the
    left-hand column.  To select a field, move your mouse pointer to
    the appropriate field and click.  Then, move your mouse pointer
    to the Add Button and click again.  The selected field now
    appears in the Fields to Sort Box. 

    To select an Ascending (A-to-Z alphabetical or 1-to-100
    numerical) or Descending Sort, move your mouse pointer to the
    appropriate button (circle) in Display Pulldown Menu and click. 
    A dark circle indicates that the sort is active.  Now move your
    mouse pointer to the Sort Button and click to initiate the sort.

    To remove a field from the Sort list, move your mouse pointer to
    the appropriate field in the Fields to Sort Window (right hand
    of Dialog Box)and Click.  Then, move your mouse pointer to the
    Remove Button and Click again.  

    Note:  The Remove Button automatically replaces the Add Button
    when you Select a field in the Field to Sort (right hand)
    Window.

    NOTE:  Sorting is a CPU intensive activity that requires a
    certain amount of time.  The time required for a sort depends on
    the amount of material in the database and the number of fields
    selected.  The Cancel Button aborts the Sort setup activity and
    returns you to your current Search mode.
