Sets Menu 2: List Options and Database Statistics

         The List options help you customize the use of the     
         List Window.  These options include Doc ID #, Hide     
         Field Labels, and Hide All on Click.
           
         Show Doc ID #
              To show a Doc ID #, click on this option.  The Doc ID
              # is pre-assigned during database creation and appears
              in the List Window as the letter "D" and an underline
              symbol (_) followed by a number.  In this shorthand
              form, an entire document can easily be inserted in the
              Search Text Entry Area as a Doc ID # by tagging on the
              Doc ID # and using the Include option.  The default is
              Doc ID 1.
 
         Hide Field Labels
                    
              To turn off the display of field labels in the List
              Window, move your mouse pointer to Hide Field Labels
              and click.  The default is field label off.
     
         Hide All on Click
                    
              When Hide All on Click is activated, the List Window
              and other currently open Windows automatically close
              after you have selected a document by clicking TWICE
              on a document in the List Window.  When Hide All on
              Click is disabled, the List Window and other open
              windows will remain onscreen after you selected a
              document.  To reactivate windows closed with this
              option, click on the Document Icon (first Light on the
              Left in the Lights Toolbox Menu). 

              To toggle the Hide All on Click option off or on, move
              your mouse pointer to Hide All on Click and click. 
  
         Field Labels and Settings Text Box 
         
              This option provides a summary of which fields are set
              to appear on the display in the List Window, and/or
              are searchable.  

              "D" indicates that the field will appear in the
              Document Window;
              "S" indicates that the field will be searched;
              "T" indicates the field will appear in the List
              Window;
              "DST" indicates a combination of all three.

    Database Statistics includes the following items:
               
         Name 
                    
              This option displays the name of the current database
              being searched.  The name of the current database is
              also displayed on the far left of the Status Line.
              
         Total documents
                   
              This feature displays the number of documents in the
              current database.

         Unique words
                    
              This feature displays the total number of  unique
              words and numbers in the current  database.  Each time
              a word is added to a database, one number is added to
              this total.  Stop Words are not included.
