Scrolling -- Vertical and Horizontal -- A Line/Character At A Time Scrolling Up A Line Move your mouse pointer to the Up Arrow at the top of the Vertical Scroll Bar located to the right of Document Window. Each click on the Up Arrow move the document up one line. If you PRESSHOLD DOWN the Select Button, you will move up a document sequentially. Scrolling Down a Line Move your mouse pointer to the Down Arrow at the bottom of the Vertical Scroll Bar located to the right of the Document Window. Each click on the Down Arrow will move the document down one line. If you PRESS AND HOLD DOWN the Select Button, you will move down a document sequentially. Horizontal Scrolling The Horizontal Scroll Bar at the bottom of each window allows you to scroll left and right in the document by characters and by increments. To move horizontally within a window, move your mouse pointer to the Thumbwheel (small transparent box) located on the left side of the Horizontal Scroll Bar, PRESS AND HOLD DOWN the Select Button (far left-hand button on your mouse) while dragging the Thumbwheel to the desired position, and then release the Select Button when you have the correct position. During this process, the text may appear to have moved off the left side of the screen. To move text back onto the screen, move again to the Thumbwheel, PRESS AND HOLD DOWN the Select Button while dragging the Thumbwheel back to the left in the Horizontal Scroll Bar. To scroll one character at a time back and forth across a line, click on either the Right Arrow or the Left Arrow located on either end of the Horizontal Scroll Bar. If you PRESS AND HOLD DOWN the Select Button, you will sequentially scroll horizontally.
