EDIT


EDIT places you in an editor working on the file DOCOUT.  You can then
edit and annotate your working file.   Be sure to save the file before
you exit the editor.  When you exit the editor you will automatically 
return to PL.

To use the editor of your choice you need to do the following things.

1. Have that editor in your search path.
2. Create a file called EDIT.BAT in the \pl directory that consists
   of the following line:  WP %1

         where WP is the name of your editor and %1 is literally %1.
