Expert Systems (Neural):

Expert systems based on neural networks will have real decision
capabilities.  The whole decision process from electronic data
acquisition, structuring, and manipulation will be integral to
the neural network system.  This will facilitate the assimilation
of data and the creation of associative relationships between all
information nodes relevant to user needs.  Neural systems will be
capable of accessing a global knowledge base, and then
contextually filtering that information in order to retrieve only
that which is relevant to user need or preference.  The
processing of information will culminate in the formulation of
discretionary responses to the specific context of the current
decision process.
