Hardware and Software Configuration (Prototype):

A variety of possibilities exist for the assembly of a computer
information system that can effectively address preservation
issues.  In view of the attributes and shortcomings discussed
above, a cost effective system of exceptional information
management capabilities would have the following components if it
were to be assembled today (June, 1989).
