Video Output: Image data files can be recorded from the digital environment onto videotape by connecting a VCR to the output port on a frame grab board located in the computer. The digital image is translated into an analog image as it is transmitted through the analog/digital (A/D) converter resident on the frame grab board. The analog videotape image can then be displayed using a VCR with a standard television set. The image can also be displayed in its analog form directly from the frame grab board to a television set or an RGB analog monitor. Image quality is higher when displayed on the RGB monitor rather than as an NTSC composite signal on a standard television. Data Output
