Hypertext vs. Interactive Video:

In many ways, the design intentions of good hypertext and
interactive video systems are similar.  These intentions address
the need to create a user friendly environment that has a
coherent, comprehensible structure, maximizes user control and
discretion in information retrieval, encourages browsing, and
permits effective interaction with users of varied skills and
experiences.
