I am pleased to provide you with the 1987 ACM Publications Catalog. It
includes listings and descriptions of all ACM journals, published
conference proceedings, newsletters of ACM's Special Interest Groups,
special publications and items of general interest.

This year we have added an Index of all of our publications to the catalog
(see Pages 30-40). This Index provides you with quick and easy access to
publications and products you need. Each publication is listed by subject
from the title and includes the publication order number, the member price
and the nonmember price. In addition to using the order forms within this
catalog, you may order your back issue and single copy selections via credit
card by calling the toll-free number listed throughout.

Four items have been added to the ACM Standing Order Subscriptions 
(Pages 35-34), namely--SIGGRAPH Slides (3 sets per year), the Computational
Geometry Symposiums, Lisp and Functional Programming Symposiums, and GUIDE.

We encourage everyone interested in the GUIDE TO COMPUTING LITERATURE Series to take advantage of the Standing Order Subscription. GUIDE is now being published on schedule. Each Spring the current volume can be added to your library through
this unique and valuable service. (See Page 6 for the complete GUIDE listing).

The items listed in this catalog are as of July 1986. If you wish to check
the availability of proceedings published after July 1986 which are not listed
